Troward’s philosophy is diametrically opposed to one that denies the integral and necessary function of the Individual. His view is that the Individual is the necessary counterpart to the Universal Creative Spirit, that Spirit cannot realize the fullness and joy of its own Being (nor further evolve in form) without the reciprocal expression of the Individual (who is able to operate, as Sprit, in the realm of the particular).
